Keep the products indoors or in covered spaces protected from direct rain and harsh sunlight.
Avoid placing near heat sources like stoves or direct air from AC vents.
Maintain stable indoor humidity to prevent expansion or cracks.
A few simple tips to maintain your Chithira Maadam woodies :
Dust regularly using a soft, dry cloth.
For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth - avoid wet wiping.
Carved panels and statues should be dusted gently with a brush or blower.
3. Polishing & Finishes
Our products come pre-finished with minimal chemicals, using sealer and wood polish
You can re-polish once every few years if the wood looks dry or dull
Avoid using chemical sprays or polishes unless specifically recommended. Feel free to contact us for guidance.
4. Moving & Fixing
Handle large products like doors and mandapams with care during movement.
For temple carts or other heavier products, discuss handling with us before relocating.
If wall-mounted, use sturdy brackets and professional installation.
