We choose the wood to suit the piece. Here is what we work with, and why.

Burma Teak Wood

For centuries this has been the wood of Chettinad architecture, temples and royal buildings. It resists termites and moisture, carries a deep golden brown grain, and its natural oils give it a faint aroma. Burma Teak Wood is the only timber we work with — every door, pillar and panel we carve comes from it.
